DULLES, VA, July 16, 2010 – Following the minor 3.6 magnitude earthquake that awoke the DC area early Friday morning, Concert Technologies announces its company-wide contingency planning program. This program allows for the continuity of customer support and the security of both nationwide and global multi-site enterprise technology deployment projects.
Utilizing the Maestro Technology Rollout System, Concert Technologies has developed a dependable Enterprise Risk Management Program as part of a Business Continuity Plan. Employing a Unified Resource Rollout Delivery Team as part of the company’s internal resources allows for a maximized redundancy, scalability and a highly efficient communication flow. Concert Orchestrated Processing System (COPS) is a web-based software application that allows our rollout delivery team to telecommute and the seamless continuity of any enterprise technology deployment project during an event that closes our offices.
“This program, though always in place, is being defined at a time of much necessity. After a winter with multiple snow storms, a summer with record heat, the mild earthquake in the DC area this morning and in a time where a national security threat could cripple business, Concert Technologies recognizes the concerns of its technology rollout customers regarding the continuity of operations during a disaster,” Dennis Mazaris, Concert Technologies President and Founder commented. “Though lucky this earthquake was minor and caused no damage, we must be prepared for the reality of a disaster, such as a stronger earthquake, that carries the potential to affect business,” he added.

DULLES, VA, FEBRUARY 18, 2010 – Concert Technologies today announced the release of its new podcast, entitled “Concert Close: Maximize the Green Efficiency of Multi-Site National Rollouts of Technology.” The interview-style podcast acknowledges the concerns of the Information Technology Systems industry, lead by the international non-profit association, BICSI, to provide green iniatives for technology contractors across the globe. Concert Technologies’ Green IT Deployment Program, “Concert Close,” is providing the industry’s first methodology to reduce truck rolls and travel time to customers requiring nationwide and international deployments of technology infrastructure. As a result, fuel consumption and carbon emissions are significantly reduced. Discussing the initiative is Executive Vice President of Concert Technologies, Tom Suder.
About “Concert Close”
“Concert Technologies sets the example for Nationwide and International Technology Rollout companies and the Information Technology Systems (ITS) industry in general by demonstrating how our rollout methods can reduce the cost and consumption of fuel as well as harmful emissions on the environment,” explains Tom Suder.
The podcast addresses the positive impact of the domestic “Concert Close” program. The interview lays out the foundation of the initiative explaining how and why Concert Technologies has mastered multi-service deployments of different technologies using as few truck rolls as possible and staying within a 40-mile distance of rural customer sites. The “Concert Close” method eliminates fuel consumption and carbon monoxide emissions by up to 70%.
“By being in 91 countries, we are well on our way to increasing our global local workforce to be able to provide the same ‘Concert Close’ capabilities as domestically”, said Dennis Mazaris, Concert Technologies, president.

The service industry consumes millions of gallons of fuel and expends trillions of pounds of carbon monoxide in our environment each year as trucks roll to installation and service locations around the globe. Finding ways to reduce truck rolls by eliminating unnecessary travel is a proactive way for service companies to play a role in protecting the environment and to meet federal environmental initiatives and guidelines.
The research and development required to create a methodology that captures these objectives and which can decrease the cost associated with multiple truck rolls is, in most cases, beyond the abilities of small-to-medium sized businesses (SMBs).
However, in an effort to meet the growing environmental concerns and to provide the service industry with a process that can be implemented in nearly every niche, Concert Technologies developed and releases to all companies sharing its concerns for environmental protection and cost savings a methodology to reduce fuel consumption and carbon monoxide emissions by nearly 70%.
In an interview, Executive Vice President, Tom Suder, discusses the U.S. Department of Transportation’s statistics on fuel and emissions and how the telecom industry in particular is mismanaging service/installation rollouts and wasting valuable resources. He provides a solution through the simple method of reducing truck rolls and unnecessary transportation while accelerating deployment speed and saving money.
Suder’s insight into the methods the industry is currently using to deploy and maintain technology as well as the flexibility that IP-based technology offers the telecom industry in general clarifies the problems. Concert Technologies’ creative means to manage the environmental and cost issues associated with service company rollouts is generously provided to any service company as a viable solution.

Concert Technologies today announced the publication of its project management article for multi-site technology rollouts in the September/October issue of BICSI News. This article explains how to effectively review nationwide, multi-site deployments through the evaluation of the project management styles utilized in the Technology Rollout System of methodologies.
Included in the article is in-depth information describing how the parts of the Technology Rollout System of methodologies work together to ensure the successful project management of multi-site deployments on a nationwide scale. This includes guidelines for the evaluation of the following areas:
- Process Structure
- Deployment Method
- Rollout Delivery Team Configuration
- Technician Communication Channel
“Only by understanding the various nationwide rollout project management options available will someone be able to make their project as efficient as possible,” said Dennis Mazaris, author of the article and President of Concert Technologies. “This information will assist anyone who is engaging a technology rollout company for project management services, or managing the project themselves. Not only will it help avoid potential and costly problems through risk mitigation of poor quality technicians sent to sites, but it will show how to accelerate deployment timeframes and ensure the overall efficiency of the project’s management effort.”
