Concert Technologies – Mobile App Privacy Notice

Effective Date: 2026-05-08

1. Scope

This Mobile App Privacy Notice describes how Concert Technologies Group, Inc. (“Concert,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application (the “App”). This Notice applies to App users, including employees and external partners.

This Notice supplements our corporate Website Privacy Notice, which applies to Concert Technologies websites and online services.

2. Information We Collect Through the App

Account and Authentication Information
When you register for or use the App, we collect information necessary to authenticate you and secure your account, including your username, account identifiers, and authentication events. We use multi‑factor authentication (MFA) to help protect accounts. If SMS is used to deliver login verification codes, we collect the phone number provided for that purpose.

Location Information
With your permission, the App collects location information only while the App is in use. Location data is used to associate work performed with job sites, support field service workflows, and validate service activity. You may control location access at any time through your device settings.

Camera, Photos, and Files
With your permission, the App may access your device camera to capture images and may access photos or files that you choose to upload through the App. Uploaded content is used for work order deliverables, site documentation, and project reporting and may include information visible within the content itself. You may control camera and photo access at any time through your device settings.

Push Notifications
If you enable push notifications, we collect a device notification token and related delivery information to send operational alerts, job notifications, and service updates.

Usage, Diagnostics, and Performance Data
We use analytics and diagnostics tools, including Firebase and App Center, to monitor App performance, troubleshoot crashes, and improve reliability. These services may be provided by third-party service providers acting on our behalf. This information may include device type, operating system version, App version, crash logs, timestamps, and limited usage metrics.

3. How We Use Information

We use App information to:

  • Provide and operate App functionality and job‑related workflows
  • Authenticate users and deliver MFA login codes
  • Send push notifications and optional SMS job alerts
  • Monitor, maintain, and improve App reliability, performance, and security
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the App (such as cloud hosting providers, analytics and diagnostics providers, and messaging and notification service providers). These providers may access information only to perform services on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it.
  • Government authorities or other third parties where required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and prevent fraud or illegal activity.

No Public Sharing or User-to-User Content
Information collected through the App, including uploaded photos and deliverables, is not made publicly available and is not shared between users within the App or made available to other users.

SMS and Phone Numbers
Phone numbers and SMS consent are not shared for marketing purposes. Phone numbers may be shared with service providers solely to deliver SMS messages you request or that are required for authentication, such as login verification codes or optional job alerts.

5. User Controls

  • Location: You may allow or revoke location access at any time through your device settings.
  • Camera and Photos/Files: You control access through your device permissions.
  • Push Notifications: You can enable or disable notifications through device settings.
  • SMS Job Alerts: Job alerts sent via SMS are optional. You may opt out of SMS job alerts at any time. (Login verification codes may be required for account access.)

6. Account & Data Deletion

Users may initiate account deletion from the app by going to Profile > Edit Profile > Delete Account > Delete

Users may also request deletion of their account and associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@concerttech.com.

Upon verification of the request, we will delete or de-identify the user’s account information and associated personal data from the mobile app and any linked systems, except where retention is required for legitimate business or legal purposes as described below.

Account deletion will result in the removal of:
– Account and authentication information
– Associated user identifiers
– Personal photos and files uploaded to the app
– Location data linked to user activity
– Device notification tokens

Some information may be retained as described in Section 7 (Data Retention), including for security, legal, contractual, or compliance purposes.

We will respond to deletion requests in accordance with applicable laws and within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Data Retention

We retain App information for as long as necessary to provide the App and related services, comply with legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

When a user account is deleted, we delete or de-identify associated personal data from active systems, except where limited retention is required for the following purposes:

– Security and fraud prevention (e.g., authentication logs, system access records)
– Legal and regulatory compliance (e.g., audit, tax, or legal obligations)
– Contractual obligations related to customer projects or service delivery
– Backup and disaster recovery processes (retained for a limited period until overwritten in accordance with standard backup cycles)

Retained data is limited to what is necessary for these purposes and is protected in accordance with our security practices.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and applicable requirements but are generally limited to the duration necessary to fulfill the purposes described above.

8. Security

We use reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and security monitoring in compliance with ISO 27001:2022. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we use encryption in transit to help protect data transmitted between the App and our systems.
